I Ain’t no Doctor
an occasional column by Charles Faris, hhc

Well, Tac, I’m glad [...]

I Ain’t no Doctor
an occasional column by charles faris, hhc

Panic is fear of the natural
So here we go again, the latest outbreak of the disease that is going to

destroy civilization,
bring on martial law and enforced vaccination, or
bring the population down to a sustainable level.

Well sorry, I don’t really have the time in my day [...]

why don’t we do what we say we want to do?

downtown
it’s 7:15 am and i’m sitting in the “lower level” of the starbucks outside arlington station, boston. funny thing that i live in boston technically, and spend almost no time here. maybe that’s because roslindale, my community, is off the subway, so it’s either pony up the big bucks and take the commuter rail, deal [...]

When health is absent,
wisdom cannot reveal itself,
art cannot become manifest,
strength cannot be exerted,
wealth becomes useless,
and reason is powerless.
herophilus 300 b.c.
thanks to daniela haskara for the herophilus quote, and may i close the loop by saying that if you ain’t got reason, wealth, strength, art,or wisdom, you ain’t got your health. which shows in my mind [...]

rubber band the wrist
okay then. complaint free world. rubber band the wrist and there we go.
the big no of complaint
the greatest block to the flow of passion is the big no of complaint. at its simplest we have the flow of yes and the dam of no. and the no is a revolt against what [...]
