Little Blue Masks
Well then. Four down and eight to go, as they say. Another Walpurgis Nacht has come and gone and the Magic Theater is obviously alive and well. And what has this week brought our way, besides little blue masks on the streets of San Francisco and a few days rest from the constant drum of eco-no-my eco-no-my eco-no-my? Hmm. Let’s dive in and see what’s up!
Woop Woop Woop Woopra!
I finally inserted the correct code in the correct place and suddenly woo! A new place to sink hours of my time in the blink of an eye! What am I talking about? Why, it’s Woopra Analytics, of course. For example, now that I know that my crazy keywords like monkey trap, shiva nataraj, and spiraling out of control, are actually attracting random interesting people over to this neck of the woods; that people search for my friend Robin Shaw, body-worker extraordinaire, and wind up here!; that people search for marcel duchamp and wind up here!, and that a wonderful freelance graphic designer living in the south of France has put me on her petite sélection of blogs, who’d a thunk it! How wunnerful!
Oh oh oh oh! We get testimonials!
My friend Diana Cullum-Dugan, who does a lot of the same things I do only differently, ‘cos she’s a different person than me, which is a beautiful illustration of the polarity of unity and seperation, don’t you think?–well my friend Diana observed a yoga class of mine a few weeks ago in order to write an evaluation that I need in order to continue with my designation as an Anusara Inspired yoga teacher.
So she sent me a nice note about the class that she observed and–well–her eval kinda knocked my socks off by itself, and some of the comments that she quoted from a few of my students–wow! I was and still am truly humbled. Wow!
And the greatest thing was when she zapped me another note saying that her only regret is that she didn’t have a chance to talk to all of my students as they left the room for she was sure that she would have been able to collect pages of wonderful testimonials to my teaching! >blush<
Now–the thing that makes this really weird is that my wacky-brilliant mentor Havi Brooks announced last Friday that she is doing a teleclass thingy on how to get great testimonials–and how just by sending out an intent to be there–I’m already getting them!
That is truly the magic of Universe in action! Thoughts truly do become things!
The Sky is Falling! The Sky is Falling!
Now…I’m not one to denigrate the suffering of others, and I’m also not one to let a raging panic rise up about me without shouting a few strong clarion calls to Wake the Hell Up, People! So I called out the non-doc to put on his non-lab-coat and write a piece about why you should not be afraid of the swine flu, or the H1N1 virus as it is now being called in obvious appeasement to the owners of the massive hog confinement operations that obviously had a thing or two to do with this whole “pandemic”. And rather simply pay attention to your own good health by boosting your immune system with good food, good friends, fresh air, and all that good stuff.
Good comes from good, people, not from getting all freaked out about some Chicken Little virus!
And in that spirit…
I am also offering up an immunity enhancing “Spring Cleaning”. And just because you are on the ball and reading this Update, you get to go over and read the low-tech, non-fancy, no-graphics Introduction to the Art of Spring Cleaning ’09 page, in which I tell you all about the offering in 1st draft form and explain the 2 separate and complementary Spring Cleaning deals I am putting together right now! This very second! As we eat sleep and breath!
Yes! My very first public over-the-web-and-through-the-phone-lines offering! Woo hoo!
What a week, eh? I told you this moon was going to rock the joint!
Now. Anything else important happen this week?
Well, aside from taking the boy out to test ride a bike (we both like it!), and aside from discovering that this year his birthday falls on Queen Victoria day, well, I think not really anything I need to spill any more ink and electrons on.
And still…
I just want you all to know how very grateful I am that you are out there for me to have a positive impact upon. Remember,a meteor is just a flying rock until it finds a planet to land upon, and then it is a meteorite, right? And that is one hell of an upgrade. Or something like that.
Anyway, thanks for giving me a way to channel my creative healing energies. I can’t feel them unless they are flowing, and they have nowhere to flow without you!
