sundays:
9:00am to 10:15am - Anusara-Inspired @
Roslindale Yoga 4155 Washington Street, Roslindale
Postures and philosophy are taught with the influence and inspiration of Anusara yoga, developed by John Friend, and focusing deeply on proper alignment to access the divine grace within our own selves. Appropriate as a mixed-levels class, this class explores challenging flow mixed with heart-centered philosophy in a nurturing and supportive enviroment. Regular students to yoga will quickly notice their progress in this wonderful class. Some previous yoga experience required.
11:15am to 12:30pm - Slow Flow @
Healthworks- Chestnut Hill (gym members only)
This class leads practitioners through a slow flow of postures, breathing, and relaxation techniques. This meditative practice includes longer holds to ignite the body’s internal heat and allow deep release to occur. Students learn to balance strength with flexibility and effort with surrender in each pose.
12:30pm to 1:30pm Restorative @
Healthworks - Chestnut Hill (gym members only) Utilizing props and gentle instruction, these relaxing yoga postures are great for restoring the body and mind in a supportive way. This class is suitable for people with injury or physical limitations, as well as anyone seeking a gentle practice.
tuesdays:
9:30am to 10:45 - Vinyasa @
Healthworks - Brookline (gym members only)
A flowing style of yoga that deeply integrates breath and movement, awareness and alignment, and stability and flexibility. Thoughtful sequencing and moderate pacing keep the body gracefully engaged and stimulate mindful focus. This is a physically challenging class that is best for advanced beginners, or intermediate to advanced practitioners.
6:00pm to 7:00 - Basics @
Yoga Now 282 Bussey Street, East Dedham (studio is tucked away behind the CVS on Grove/Bussey Street and next to the post office.)
This slow, deep practice covers basic fundamentals of yoga and explores drishti, asana and breath to guide the heart. Beginners welcome.
7:15pm to 8:15 - Slow Flow@
Yoga Now 282 Bussey Street, East Dedham (studio is tucked away behind the CVS on Grove/Bussey Street and next to the post office.)
Standing and floor posture series with special attention to strengthening, alignment, and individual student needs. Yoga experience is beneficial, but not necessary. This class is ideal for people of all ages looking for challenging yoga that is easy on the joints.
fridays:

This class moves on the breath at a steady pace, with lots of deep heart opening poses, appropriate for all levels of yoga.
