8 minutes

announcing creative lifestyles, llc

that’s me, my yoga mat, my thai bodywork mat, and my website.

what i want to talk about today is how i got to be where i am, where the heck i am, and why it could make a difference in your life, and the lives of many that you hold near and dear.

i know that 8 minutes is a pitifully short time to accomplish this task, so i want to extend to each and every one of you an invitation to join me for a free 50 minute consultation, during which you will gain insights into yourself, your desires and motivations, and from which you will walk away with some easy steps that you can take to improve your health and vitality, as well as a better understanding of how i do what i do, which i will get to in about three minutes.

the tool bag

the thing i really want you to understand today is how all of this ties together, just so you have a sense of it. so first off let’s say that i have a tool bag, as do all of you. it’s not just the mats! i have my portable music set up, i have my little self assessment tool, i have ganesh, the remover of obstacles and blesser of new enterprises, i have my website, which is printed on my business cards…

i also have some tools that won’t fit in a bag…like my yoga practice, my thai bodywork practice, my voice, my brilliance, my tank top! which will fit in the bag. and isn’t coming off because you all didn’t bring enough dollar bills to get that ball rolling.

so, right now, i want to get you centered, so that you can get a taste of the state, notice…same letters, different order…a taste of the state that you will experience when you work with me, the state that makes it possible to accomplish all of the things that you will accomplish when we work together.

so close your eyes, rest one hand in your lap, with the thumb and the forefinger touching, and bring the other hand to your heart. i promise we’re not going to say the pledge of allegiance, rather we are going to create a bond of allegiance to our hearts.

bla bla [90 seconds of heart opening bliss!]

now…open your eyes and look at the circle of life in front of you, and put a little dot on each of the spokes in that wheel, close to the hub equals not so good. out near the rim means you are rocking out. work your way around the wheel. don’t think too hard, just go with your first impulse. fly through it…we only have 8 minutes.

true wheel prototype

when you have finished, draw a line from point to point all the way around the wheel. and then imagine that the wheel you just created is rolling down the street! and you are riding on it.

that wheel is your life, and that is why i am creating the true wheel group program, which i am going to tell you about right now.

the true wheel

super secret at this point

the true wheel is my group program that is in the creative stage just now. the basic idea is to get yourself really healthy in a well rounded way so that you can go out in the world and kick some creative ass! be the rockstar that you are! do that thing that no one else has thought of yet. or at least acted on. right?

‘cos if you are slacking in a couple of areas of your life it’s hard to really get out there and act on your dreams, ain’t it. and if you aren’t acting on your dreams then that’s all they are, dreams. you might not even remember your dreams! yikes!

and the other side of this is true as well! if you aren’t out there acting on your dreams then you must be suffering in a few areas of your life, and probably slacking in a couple more.

what are you talking about?

you know. the spokes of your wheel. the pillars of your life. your family life. your career. your finances. your diet. your physical activities. your health. your spirituality. your creativity. your education. your social life.

when you are balanced in all the areas of your life then your wheel is round and your ride is smooth and you can make progress in whatever direction you want to aim yourself. and when you are not, no matter how creative you have been, the connection begins to fade, those little sparks of genius show up less and less often.

so whether you are a full-on professional who is starting to feel a little off, or fatigued, or wobbly; or you are someone hoping to re-ignite a dream, or regain the vitality necessary to take a venture to it’s full potential, the true wheel will be of benefit in helping you shore up your weaknesses, true your wheels, and get back out on that creative highway (on the way to the cheese store, no doubt…make mine cambezola!)

of course, there is no true wheel as of yet. i’m truing my own wheels as we speak. because this is great work and i want to share it with you. we’re gonna kick it while there is snow on the ground, though, i’ll betcha that!

I’m intrigued by this wheel idea you speak of… Actually sounds very cool. Also I’m in awe of the Thai bodywork – it’s something I want to learn too!

I will be back, if only to see where this wheel goes next…

Curiosity is most definitely peaked! The wheel idea makes a lot of sense – plus it feels a bit like a maths graph, and they make me feel comfy and safe :)

Looking forward to hearing more!
